ROSE -- Mary Evangeline, 58, a victim of cancer, passed away
Wed. July 24, 1996 at Torrey Pines Convalescent Hospital. Mary, the youngest
of 8 children, was born Nov. 9, 1937 in Pasadena, CA and moved to
San Diego in 1960. Ms. Rose, a teacher with the San Diego Unified
School District for approx. 20 yrs, also lived and taught in Greece and
was an English Instructor at Serra High School from 1989 - 1996. She is
survived by 2 children, Dyana Zweng of Scotts Valley, CA, and Geoffrey
Rose of San Diego; 3 grandchildren, Daniel, Regina, and Elisabeth
Zweng; 3 brothers, James Rose of Azusa, CA, John Rose of Citrus Heights,
CA and Frank Rose of Arlington, VA; and 2 sisters, Eleanor Taylor
of Balboa Island, CA, and Georgia Bunker of West Covina, CA. Memorial Services
are Tues., July 30th, 2 p.m. at St. Considine and Helen's Greek Orthodox
Church in Cardiff with Graveside Service following at Eternal Hills Cemetery
. The family suggest Memorials directed to the American Cancer Society.
